Packing Essentials

Jeans - Topshop
Sunglasses - eBay ( similar here )
Coat & T-shirt - Primark
Jumper - Vintage

So it is coming to that time when we all go off on holiday. I'm heading to London tomorrow for three days with some of my family and my lovely friend Lisa. We are staying in Camden and just roaming around London. I thought it might be useful to do a post on a few essentials when packing.
1.Wherever you go it is possible you'll need a coat, I tend to just wear one on my travels or pack a light coat with me.
2.I also pack a good pair of comfy jeans and this is no exception, my favourite jeans are packed.
3. Sunglasses tend to be essential for holidays, especially if you are lucky enough to be going abroad. I'm taking mine as a ray of hope for some sun!
4.A simple t-shirt is versatile and can be worn with anything really so a good basic tee is a must for me.
5. And lastly a jumper whether it is lightweight or a heavy knit, a jumper can help layer up to keep warm or instead of a jacket. I hope this helped if you are going on holiday or if you enjoyed a nosey at what I'm packing.

Just a little p.s I was lucky enough to be asked to write a guest post for an online blog called Pretty Good Look. It would be great if you guys could check it out and let me know what you think, just click here.

Lust List

Back Packs - 1. River Island, 2. New Look3. New Look
Sandals - 1.Pull & Bear, 2. New Look, 3. Boohoo
Shorts - 1.Topshop, 2. Monki, 3.ASOS

I've been having a huge clear out of my wardrobe and it is starting to look a bit empty, especially for Summer clothing. Here are just a few bits I'm lusting over. Firstly I am loving white and a white leather backpack is a NEED for me. I have currently have a black back pack which has seen better days and I'm definitely thinking of replacing it for a gorgeous white leather backpack. I own one pair of sandals, madness I know, not even a pair of flip flops. With the warmer weather peeping it's head I think sandals are needed and I'm loving lots of straps on sandals. Lastly I need some shorts, I'm not a fan of skirts as you have to watch how you sit and make sure you don't have a Marilyn moment. As a bit of a tomboy shorts are perfect to bare my legs but not have to be too cautious. I'd love to know any of your lusting items, pop a comment below or tweet me @Stepinmycloset

T-shirt Dress

Ruck sack - Primark
Dress & Sunglasses  - eBay
T-shirt - Toast
Shoes - Nike (via Depop)

Excuse the photo quality, I had to use my iphone as I was having camera drama this morning. So I started my day of right with a big plate full of breakfast. I had pancakes, bacon and maple syrup with my friend Ellie from John Thorners Coffee Den. They were delicious, it was nice to go out for breakfast rather than lunch or dinner made my morning much better. I then came back and had some lunch with the family and went for a two hour driving lesson, in which I nearly melted in the heat. Not that you'll hear me complaining I LOVE the sun and so happy to see it return to England. As you can see I'm still loving my Nike trainers but if this glorious sun keeps shining I may have to invest in some sandals!

Bike Ride

Today me and Alex went for a two hour bike ride all around the country lanes. It was beautiful but bloody exhausting. It was nice to go out in the sunshine as I've been busy doing my exams, revision and working so it was the first full day I had off in the sun. I only have one more exam, this Friday, then I will be blogging more again. I hope that for everyone else doing exams and revision it is going well.

Barry Island

Last month or so I took a big jump and meet another blogger to do a photoshoot. I was extremely nervous as I find it hard to meet new people, never mind parade around for photos. But I'm trying to push myself to do more things that scare me and these photos are a good memento. So I jumped onto a train and headed to Barry Island. I meet the beautiful and clever Holly from The Persephone ComplexYou should check out her blog, she is so open and honest, it is super refreshing and at times hilarious. We totally put the world to rights that day, she made me feel so comfortable and we laughed a lot!
The contrast of backgrounds, colours and the overall outcome of the photos is awesome and I'm glad I took the risk. We had a really fun and interesting day. I hope you all like the photos and you all should check out Holly's blog and facebook page Holly Cassell.

Spring Wish List

Trousers - Topshop
Sandals - New Look
Leather Jacket - ASOS
Playsuit - H&M

If you follow me on twitter, you may have seen I'm selling lots of clothes on the app Depop (follow me @stepintomycloset). So my wardrobe is looking a little bare and I've been looking around for some new items to invest in. If you know me or have followed my blog for a while you'll know I love black clothing. However white is wriggling it's way into my heart! I just think it looks simple and effortless, I'm also falling head over heels for pastel blue. I think these colours will look great in the summer with a tan.

Green Shoes

Shoes - Nike (bought on Depop)
Trousers - Primark
Jumper - H&M
Eagle Ring - Regal Rose
Necklace - Black Tied

I stepped out of my comfort zone and invested in some trainers and I love them. I stumbled upon these on the Depop App (which I'm loving) and couldn't resist. I love the colour and the texture on the Nike tick. Another plus is how bloody comfy they are! I definitely needed that comfort today after a hilarious mess of a day. I got up to go into college for my lesson which I thought was second but no it was first thing as it has always been, since September. I then thought I'd missed the bus but it wasn't for an hour. To top it off for my next lesson of the day I walked straight into the wrong class. Clearly I don't know how to function today and it worries me that I'm classed as an adult! Hope you've all had a more successful day.
