Horror

Molly

Jumper & cardigan - H&M
Shirt - Charity shop
Jeans - Pieces

Last night I spent the night with my best friend Molly, as she was back from uni and I haven't seen her properly since Christmas. Today I had to do some filming for my Media horror trailer. Molly and Alex both agreed to participate, however getting two of the happiest people I know to be serious was not easy. We were all in fits of laughter. Sorry I've been blogging so little but until all this coursework is out of the way I have very little free time. Sorry guys!

Lunch date

Gnarly Top - ASOS
Denim Jacket - Charity Shop
Trousers - River Island

After my day off on Wednesday I think all my stress caught up with me and I've been a bit poorly these last few days. I've got another deadline for Graphics that I've been preparing for but today Alex took me for lunch. I recommended this little restaurant near my college which has lovely sort of Mediterranean food. We weren't feeling too hungry so grabbed some chips, olives, bread and oils to share. We are both olive lovers and these olives were delicious! It was nice to get a load of stressful graphics work done and then have some delicious food and relaxing time. I'm now back at home carrying on my work for my deadline. Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

A Day Off... finally

Chunky necklace - Ethics
Circle necklace - Dixi
Third necklace - Vintage
Oversized T-shirt - ASOS

So my film tutor is away this week on a college trip and I had today off as he wasn't there for the lesson. I had to hand in all my textiles coursework yesterday so the last week or so has been a little stressful, having today off is perfection! I have another three deadlines within the next four weeks, unfortunately that means blogging is taking a back seat at the minute. Sorry guys. I'm missing blogging a lot and can't wait to have more time to blog for you all. However I thought today I would just share with you what I've been doing and how I'm relaxing on my day off. I'm currently eating some peanut butter on toast and I'm glad to have this lovely day off. Hope you all have some time to take out for yourselves this week!

Back To Basics

I put together a few basic outfit ideas for you all. I doubt it is just me who wakes up and nothing looks right so I always resort to my basic outfits that I know won't fail me.

Jeans - New Look
Striped t-shirt -ASOS
Shoes - H&M
Band t-shirt - Pull&Bear

Black skinny jeans and white trainers, either converse or look a likes, and a t-shirt are my perfect go to outfit when I'm in a rush or stuck for ideas. I love striped t-shirts or jumpers with this look as it is effortless and looks great. If you don't fancy a striped t-shirt maybe a band t-shirt to give a bit more of an edge to your outfit. Then just a leather jacket or oversized blazer and you are good to go.

Dress - H&M
Jumper - Topshop
Necklace - River Island
Boots - Boohoo

A skater or cami dress is another great base for an outfit. By adding a cropped jumper you add layers and texture, also warmth for the current weather. A chunky necklace sticks with the femininity and effortlessness of the outfit. By adding boots with a dress in keeps to the grungey look I love but of course you guys can pair whatever shoes you like.

New Year's Resolutions Update

If you read my New Year Resolutions blog post then you'll know one of my resolutions was to try and be a bit healthier.  Just a little update on that, I've taken upon myself to do the 30 day Squat challenge and I'm currently on day 3. I'm enjoying making sure I do the couple of minutes of exercise that before I wasn't doing at all. It is only day three so I'm still feeling positive. Let me know if any of you are doing a similar challenge or exercise regime, and if so best of luck!

I need sleep

T-shirt - Primark
Leather Jacket - Primark
Trousers -Tesco
Shoes - Seven Boot Lane

As this post is titled I really do need sleep, after the relaxing Christmas holidays to now be back at college with deadlines looming the pressure is on. I have lots of work to be doing and not enough time so my body is suffering a little, excuse the luggage under my eyes. I decided these comfy tartan trousers and t shirt were perfect for a miserable Monday. I think I have the January blues bad, so leave a comment below or via Twitter or Instagram with a cure or inspiration to cheer me up.

Perfect Print

Top - ASOS
Trousers - River Island
Shoes - Tesco
Bag - Monki

Today is my favourite day of the week, I go into college later and finish by lunch. It is the only day in the week I get a bit of time to do things and to think more about what to wear and I love that. These trousers I think may be a wardrobe favourite at the moment as they are comfortable (a chiffon fabric) and I love the print. They fit well and I grabbed them in the sale which I also love. Paired with my turtle neck crop top I think they are great for Winter however if I paired the trousers with a loose t shirt they'd be perfect for Summer too.
Happy Wednesday everyone!

January Blues

Top - ASOS
Socks - ASOS
Shoes - Seven Boot Lane
Jeans - Pieces
Cardigan - H&M (can't find online)
Shirt - Charity Shop
Necklace - Shop Dixi (currently out of stock)

As like many people today life after Christmas returned to normal today. I went back to college today and that means blogging becomes more difficult again, it is too dark to take photos when I leave for college and also when I come back. However I endeavoured tonight whilst babysitting (their house has much better lighting) and hope the photos aren't too bad for you. I really liked my outfit today, it was just the right amount of laid back and grungey. My jeans are my favourites and paired with my edgy studded brogues (see post on them here...Shoe Boot Lane) are my favourite combo at the moment. My shirt is perfect for layering as it is baggy and with my cardigan over the top it creates a bit more shape. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break and didn't find it too hard returning to work, college, school etc.

New Year Resolutions

I'm not normally one to even attempt New Year resolutions as I have no willpower and often forget. However I feel this year I will have a go as I have all you lovelies to keep an eye on me and motivate me. Here we go...
1. Blog MORE! This is my absolute priority this year. I often have my time full but if I organise myself I'm sure I can blog more regularly for you all to enjoy or not.
2. Cosmetics, I am so lazy with my skin and really should take better care of it now I'm no longer a teenager (well official anyway). I'm lucky in the fact my skin is normally pretty good but it could be better.
3. Eat more healthy. I think after the Christmas binge everyone feels like this and in no way shape or form do I think I need to lose weight. I am happy enough with my figure but I eat so much junk that my body on the inside probably isn't that happy.
I think that is enough, well for me anyway. I need you guys to help encourage me and remind me though as I will forget. I'd love to hear your resolutions if any so let me know in the comments, through twitter (@Charlottie7890) or Instagram (@stepintomycloset7).

Seven Boot Lane

Lipstick - Topshop
Jacket - eBay
T-shirt - H&M
Jeans - Pieces
Bag - Monki
 Shoes - Seven Boot Lane

Happy New Year All! In my last blog post (New Year's Eve) I briefly mentioned these lovely new shoes. I couldn't wait to wear and style them so thought I would share with you all how I did. I went straight to my favourite jeans, when I bought the shoes I instantly imagined them with a rolled up skinny jean. I had never heard of Seven Boot Lane but I work at Kilver Court and spotted these beauties along with some gorgeous boots in the sale. I couldn't resist. I would recommend checking out their website or if you live close enough pop to Kilver Court.
