Don't you love those mornings when you whack on an outfit and love it? I had that with this outfit. 

I loved all the layers and I love longer dresses/skirts but I don't have the height to pull them off, a dipped hem really helps with that. It shows I actually have legs and I'm not being eaten by material. I also bagged this beanie from New Look for a £1, I got it in black too, such a bargain! I had a lovely lunch and cocktails to celebrate finishing my textiles exam, which is 5 hours, so was a real relief to have it done. I enjoyed this mojito, especially all its fancy decoration, the umbrella is now in my room!

Recently I was lucky enough to be given a 20% off  discount code for Black Tied, a lovely jewellery company. I've eyed up their jewellery in the past but I'm useless at buying jewellery and a lot of my jewellery are gifts I've hoarded over the years. I picked two of their awesome necklaces, my favourite being the teeth necklace. The teeth pendants have a good weight which stops them going upside down and out of place (a personal annoyance) and it isn't a design that I've seen before. I liked the uniqueness but the simplicity of the design! The handcuff necklace is something I've looked at buying for a while but again I couldn't decide where to buy it from, what colour, what length, tell me I'm not the only insane lady who overthinks her purchases? Also if you spend over £25 you get free delivery and it is so easy to spend £25 in indulging in some new jewellery.
I still have college work coming out of my ears and keeping my outfits simple is a recurrence, but I use lipstick and unique jewellery to spice up my otherwise mundane outfits. Jeans and plain tops are my go to at the moment and I do like this combination! It is simple but adding one item like my aztec embroidered jacket adds something interesting.

I have college work coming out of my ears, if I'm not filming/editing, I'm drawing and creating and if I'm not there I'm at work. Hence the simple get me through the day outfit and exhausted face! I've been keeping it basic lately, this allows for extra sleep, which is essential. The top has lovely texture which adds a little spice to the outfit and the jeans I destroyed myself with a cheese grater. 

I can't wait for the stress to be over and to have a nice relaxing Summer, but before that I am running the Race for Life. Yes I am so aware of how bloody miserable I look in these photos, I'm exhausted and a little hungover. I had a lovely girls night last night with my mum and my fellow blogger Lisa. Much wine was drunk and hence my miserable appearance today. I have also quit smoking and this adds to my overall fed up face.  Plus the sun has rapidly disappeared and this morning was horrendously foggy, which did on the positive side make for a beautiful photo. But I can't be too grumpy with this beautiful dress, the net detailing also allowed the detailing of my awesome (not to put on, it takes a good five minutes to arrange yourself correctly in all the straps) bra to show through. I just thought the criss crossing bra straps added an alternative layering to the outfit.

Every one of these photos for this blog post my hair was eating my face! I choose the least chubaka images I possibly could. I always find after having your hair cut it takes a while to get used to, even when it's just a little trim it feels so different. So excuse me whilst I deal with my mass of hair. Anyway here is an outfit post for you featuring a dress, yes a dress as the sun has made an appearance. I know how optimistic of me to start cracking my dresses out but I'm sure my jeans will still be well worn this week. Enjoy the sun guys!

Yesterday I had the most wonderful morning. I visited a local shop in Shepton Mallet called Cloud 7. They invited me to come try on some clothes and have a look around and how could I resist?! I loved the vintage garments but also the hand made t-shirts. I've shown above the beautiful hand made t-shirt Anna, one of the owners, so kindly gave to me. I love the patterned elephant on the t-shirt and you guys know by now I love oversized tops! I also bought one of the dresses above and will do a whole outfit post on that soon as it is so gorgeous and I love it! I loved looking around at the records and it definitely made me want to invest in a record player, the sound quality is just gorgeous, it sounds so rich and I need that in my life! I also adore Anna's decoupage cupboard and she also had a wonderful table and bread bin, it adds a little colour and character to the furniture and I just want them in my house!
